The reason as to why i got my blackbelt .. when i was a youngun i wanted to be a ninja turtle when i grew up... haha like i'd ever transform into a turtle.. BUT who knows, maybe i would someday walk in the sewer & step in some ooze. (the green glowing kind.. not what the hell is in the NYC sewers nowadays ) :) I actually still have some of the very first ones that came out... the soft head turtles. I just wish i still had my whole MASSIVE collection!
April 07 2012 at 12:05 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI love the classic TMNT line. Like one review suggest I will buy two of each turtle, too. If I can. I don't like any of the three-toed turtles.
March 09 2012 at 11:27 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI love the new turtles - mainly because they remind me even more of the original comics. Those complaining about three toes; old Laird art shows the turtles with four and sometime five toes! The turtles are like Batman's costume - every artist has a different take. I LOVE this particular take.

February 02 2012 at 3:40 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI am so looking forward to these new TMNT figures. The ones for the Nickelodeon cartoon look cool, but the classics figure are just so awesome. I especially love how articulated the classics figures are. I may consider buying two of each: one to keep mint on card and a second to remove the package so I can pose them (and even play with them).
February 02 2012 at 3:10 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe new TMNT figures look good. But the one thing that I don't like is that they now have three toes instead of two like the originals. It's just wrong.
February 01 2012 at 7:00 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIn fairness, though, it was kinda weird that they had 3 fingers but only 2 toes.
February 01 2012 at 11:15 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe modern ones are almost as good as NECA'S, and they will be mine, oh yes. The classics are pretty cool too, but I'll probably just spring for the standard modern figs.
February 01 2012 at 4:51 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyDang, Mike even looks BA with his scowl and his new kusurigama! I love a line that doesn't have Mike looking like a friggin fool! Can't wait!
February 01 2012 at 5:04 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replywhy did the deluxe ones have pupils ? besides that they look pretty cool,
February 01 2012 at 3:58 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI think it's a reference to the '80's cartoon, which featured the turtles with pupils.
