Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, DC Nation is a block of Cartoon Network programming dedicated to content based on the DC brand, including animated series like Green Lantern and the forthcoming Beware the Batman, as well as special event programming, filmed interstitials, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, original animated shorts and other DC-related material.

We've seen brief clips of some of the original animated shorts before, but now we've got a complete feature in the form of this charming stop-motion affair from Aardman. The studio behind Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run has retrofitted its Academy Award-winning Creature Comforts format -- whereby recordings of visitors to a zoo were set to original animations -- for the superhero set, including Superman, Batman, Catwoman and the Joker.



DC Nation premieres later this year on Cartoon Network.
