It's "Dark of the Moon." No "Side." I know, ******* stupid, but there you have it.

December 24 2011 at 3:48 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyTransformers was ****.
December 23 2011 at 11:24 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI disagree. No way did it deserve four stars.

December 22 2011 at 10:52 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhy is Transformers on the list? It was a cartoon/toy tie marketing ploy first, right? Technically isn't that like saying ANY comic book (whether a movie adaptation or whatever) should be on the list?
Then again I would consider ROM a comic book movie although it started as a comic/toy tie in, the comic FAR outperformed and outlived the toy.
Dylan Dog was MEH+. Poor Brandon Routh. Can't get a good project to save his life.
Conan did just flat our suck as both a Sword & Sorcery Movie AND a Conan story. I also think Jason Momoa COULD make a good Conan with a better director and script.
Weird that neither Captain America nor Thor really made that much money in the US considering how much they cost to make. Luckily they were both pretty big World Wide. Didn't care to run production cost numbers on the others. Box Office Mojo dot Com for those interested.
You could make an argument that Transformers was a comic first. The comic and tv show started around the same time, but Jim Shooter, Dennis O'Neil and Bob Budiansky created most of the early Transformers based on designs of various Japanese toylines.
I guess it just depends on how you want to see it where you should classify it.
Wasn't sure, thanks. Never even realized it was a full blown comic even though I was an active reader at the time. Just missed that one. Thanks again.
December 23 2011 at 5:39 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate downDamn, I never saw Dylan Dog, but I had no idea it tanked to spectacularly. I was a bit excited about it too. And it's a shame about Conan--I think Jason Momoa could've made a brilliant Conan if he didn't have such a god-awful script to work with.
Again, it seems like only Marvel knows what they're doing.
transformer 3 is the reason why i thing Humans fail as a specie.
thanks god for all the good movies coming oyut next year
Dark of The Moon sucked, but it sucked only slightly less than Revenge of the Fallen.
December 22 2011 at 2:53 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI don't know what's more baffling: Dark of the Moon getting higher revenue, or X-Men: First Class getting better reviews.
Thank God for Dark Knight Rises and Avengers next year. (And the Hobbit and Django Unchained oh man oh man oh man it's gonna be so awesome)
You are forgetting Ridley Scott's Prometheus. Now that is going to be good.
