On the bright side, it does the original Highlander himself, Christopher Lambert.

It's like....."I'm a villian, I'll wear a trench coat and let my hair grow wild, and movie like a power ranger villian" and........DO THEY ALL HAVE TO LOOK LIKE A MEMBER OF THE BLACK EYED PEAS!
December 16 2011 at 3:08 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyDespite the trailer, I kind of hope this movie turns out to be as bad as the first one, because the idea of an awesome Ghost Rider movie makes me uncomfortable.
December 16 2011 at 11:21 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyOh-ho-ho, I'm going to have to see this. Some of the quality of the footage seems to remind me of a Sci-Fi original movie, but, meh, it's a trailer, so I'll let it slide.
Honestly, I'm surprised it got a sequel. I didn't realize how bad the first was until I watched it again. The second viewing was the one that left me speechless in shock. But, IMO, Cage wasn't the biggest problem with it, so, even with him reprising the role, Marvel can salvage this if they got a good writer and nice supporting cast on board.
But who am I kidding, it's a Cage film! I'd see it anyway.
Looks nice and dirty. But the first one was so bland I'll reserve judgement.

December 15 2011 at 9:34 PM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyThe first was fun (sans Eva Mendez) and I'm looking forward to this one. I hope they make this one more psychobilly than the last one. I found myself saying an audible "hell yeah" when they had Peter Fonda and that wicked tremlo'd blues guitar riff at the same time!
I don't expect to gain anything from any of it, though.
Did you ever see Cage's "Drive Angry"? It's Ghost Rider + Hellblazer + Preacher + Shlocky 70's Grindhouse in one glorious package.
December 15 2011 at 8:14 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyReally? Drive Angry.. hmm.. might have to check it out now. I just seen another crappy movie so he could get a paycheck.
December 15 2011 at 9:03 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down@kevsflanagan - Nic Cage breaks out of hell in the movie. Not via some chant, or hoodoo stuff. But because he puts rubber to the road and drives a car out of hell. With William Fictner on his trail no less.

December 15 2011 at 7:23 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyNick Cage is too damn old to be playing Johnny Blaze. He just doesn't fit the character at all.
December 15 2011 at 6:41 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyFirst one was mediocre, my hopes aren't very high with the sequel.
