We got a Kindle Fire in the office for website testing, and... I'm not sure who it's for - game enthusiasts that don't want to play very many games? Comics fans that like to spend more time zooming than reading? Folks that wish their Kindle was heavier? People that wish their web browser was more erratic?
Man, those joysticks are hot. Look a little rich for my blood, though.
I've got the Hori Wii Fight Stick. You have to attach a Wii remote to it, but it's a pretty solid device for what it cost (~$40). I managed to get it working on my PC for Street Fighter 4 and such, but it took some pretty ugly workarounds to do it (a program called Wiimouse, another called PPJoy for joystick emulation, and that requires running Win7 in "test mode" to allow unsigned drivers).
I don't know how the "AKA JESSICA JONES" series is going to work out. But hey, could it be any worse than The Cape? Or HEROES past season 1? I I don't know. But I think with it being on network TV doesn't really bode well for the overall idea of the series. Anyone remember The Pulse? The failed attempt to mainline Alias. The show might work a lot better over on FX, AMC, or heck, HBO.
I'd much rather see a Heroes for Hire series. Maybe something with Misty Knight. Or hell, a New Mutants series, if Fox or someone else doesn't have the rights.
Depending on who is cast as Luke Cage, A.k.a could be pretty damn good. Also the fact it will be based in the Avengers movie'verse is very interesting also. Opens a lot of possibilities and tie ins/guest appearence's and easter eggs for viewers.
