March Of The Future Foundation: 'FF' #8 Preview

On sale this week from Marvel Comics is FF #8. Written by Jonathan Hickman with artwork by Steve Epting and Paul Mounts, the issue finds Sue Richards (aka the Invisible Woman) in conversation with her father-in-law, Nathanial Richards, who's recruited her husband Reed (aka Mr. Fantastic) and all of their greatest enemies into a war against the surviving members of the Interdimensional Council of Reeds, a group of alternate universe versions of Reed Richards whose goal is to bring about a cataclysmic war on our world. Needless to say, it is a particularly uncomfortable conversation.

I think this series has become the most interesting storyline of the First Family since Mark Waid was writing it. :-)

Just ordered vol.1 of FF after i stopped reading at 2. Great reading, great everything! Now if only we could get Sexy Reed back. His design during the multi-Reedverse arc was so damned handsome

Jonathan Hickman's run on Fantastic Four is the BEST Fantastic Four since JACK KIRBY created them and wrote and drew them for 100 issues back in the 1960's. It's superb.

His Valeria and Doctor Doom scenes are perfect.

Is the Wizard dressed like a Vicar?!? Wow, I saw the character going in that direction but wow. Surely that's going to push some peoples buttons (not mine I think it's hilarious).

In Alex Ross' "Universe X", Immortus became Pope. So, I guess that The Wizard could become a Vicar/Priest/Preacher in FF. There's lots of good religous people and leaders out their. There's also some religous nuts out there. I think that the Wizard is one of the nuts.....

Immortus was the Pope of Universe X. And he was even mutated into Kang's blue-man form and wore a human face mask to hide it. The Wizard preceded his appearance in Earth X as a part of the Skull's superhuman army.
