Sad to see a great idea for a swing routine with some pretty sub-par dancing. Too much walking around and not enough Lindy Hop. Their swing outs lacked adequate extension and the arrangement of the theme music while cute was very jarring.
So Disney is a making a movie about a High School Punk who is reincarnated as a Penguin? I can honestly say I did not expect to hear that news today. Well, could be worse. They could have adapted Pretty Face. I'm joking of course, American cinema will never be ready for that. So, are we betting Tux will be live action?
I am not meaning to draw any conclusions, but am just saying, weren't they already talking about sequels for Green Lantern before even the first movie came out? Look what happened with that movie because of the focus on setting things up for future flicks instead of just making a solid film (well, that and a bunch of other issues). I don't want to be negative, but maybe it'd be best to just focus on getting the first film out of the door before a sequel is worried about too much. --David Bitterbaum of The Newest Rant
