If you haven't had a chance to catch
Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods documentary since its October debut, you can now peer into the iconic creator's shamanic approach to crafting comics via
Hulu. The 80-minute feature produced by Respect Films and
Sequart contains one-on-one interviews with Morrison, along with the prolific talent he's worked alongside and inspired throughout his roughly 30 years penning such notable works as
2000AD's Zenith,
Animal Man,
The Invisibles,
Flex Mentallo,
New X-Men, WE3 and
All-Star Superman.
There's plenty of information to digest in Patrick Meaney's
Talking With Gods. Morrison's status as a myth maker has resulted in his own life taking on perceived myth status to many. The truths about his youth, personal life and creative approach are often revealed to be stranger than comic shop speculation in this film, giving fans plenty to think about as they read, or re-read his work.
