Fans of Best Art Ever (This Week) who'll be joining us in San Diego for Comic-Con International will want to take note of the third annual original artwork auction co-presented by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and retailer Things From Another World. Held on Saturday, July 23, this will be third in a series of auctions that's raised more than $60,000 for the CBLDF, and will include work by Gabriel Bá, Camilla d'Errico, Duncan Fegredo, Rob Guillory, Rebekah Isaacs, Roger Langridge, Jeff Lemire, Fábio Moon, Shannon Wheeler and more.

The CBLDF 25th Anniversary Gala Benefit Auction will be held at the Hilton Bayfront on Saturday night, July 23, in San Diego. Open to the public, the event will feature appearances by comics professionals yet to be announced, although it seems certain that many of the participating artists will attend.

Coordinated by TFAW, the following material was created especially for the CBLDF auction. In exchange for their original art, artists were given 500 reproductions of their work to distribute during the convention, and other copies will also be available at TFAW's booth.

Comic-Con Con International will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 21-24.
