On sale now from kaboom! is the first issue of DuckTales, an all-new comic book series based on Uncle Scrooge and his supporting cast of beloved Disney characters. A companion to kaboom!'s Darkwing Duck title, DuckTales is written by Warren Spector, creator of the popular Epic Mickey video game, and features artwork by Leonel Castellani, Jose Massaroli and Miquel Pujol. Formerly BOOM! Kids, kaboom! is the all-ages imprint of BOOM! Studios, who've enjoyed both commercial and critical success with a number of Disney-based comic books like Darkwing Duck and Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers. DuckTales is the newest addition to what the publisher is calling the Disney Afternoon Revolution and can be purchased now from finer comic book stores or online from Things From Another World.

Also on sale this week from kaboom! is Uncle Scrooge: Messes Become Successes, collecting classic DuckTales comics by creators including the legendary Carl Barks.
