Over the past month or so, ThunderCats fans have been treated to their share of promotional images and toy photos teasing Cartoon Network's upcoming relaunched animated series. These stills have finally sprung to life, however, now that CN's unveiled 80 seconds of new ThunderCats promo footage. Check out the new Lion-O, Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, Snarf and more in action after the jump.

While the promo lacks proper narration, it manages to briefly reintroduce viewers to each of the core 'Cats. There's also a glimmer of Mumm-Ra, along with plenty of lizards (a refined take on the original TC's mutants?).

Cartoon Network still hasn't nailed down a release date for STUDIO4°C and Warner Bros. Animation's new take on TC, but there seems to be plenty to look forward to when we finally get to see what Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold), Michael Jelenic (Batman: TB&TB, Wonder Woman), Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and company have come up with.
