Here at ComicsAlliance, we have a definite soft spot for super-hero themed Lego creations, but rarely have we seen them done better than Julian Fong's amazingly impressive collection of custom DC Comics minifigures. We've mentioned Fong before for his awesome LEGO cover recreations, but those are just the tip of the iceberg on the dozens of awesome customs he's created.

Left to Right: Aquaman, the Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Zatanna, Superman, the Flash, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Green Arrow, and Black Canary.

Green Lantern (John Stewart), Supergirl, Stargirl, Firestorm (Jason Rusch) and Damage

Sandman (Sandy Hawkins), Lady Blackhawk, Arsenal, Wildcat, and Liberty Belle

Dr. Light, Cheshire, Mr. Zsasz, and Count Vertigo

Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Huntress, Hourman and Dr. Mid-Nite

The Flash (Jay Garrick), Red Tornado, Green Lantern (Alan Scott) and Captain Marvel

Bizarro, Amazo, Metallo and Livewire

Steel, Power Girl, Black Lightning, Metamorpho and Mr. Teriffic
Dinestro, Weather Wizard, Deathstroke the Terminator, Captain Cold and Reverse-Flash

Black Adam, Deadshot, Lex Luthor, Chronos and Mongul

"Red Son" Superman, the Question, Batwoman, Booster Gold and Geo-Force

Manhunter, the Mad Hatter, Ra's al-Ghul and Killer Frost

Fong's attention to detail on these is amazing and pretty clever to boot (Metallo's metal skeleton, for instance, is based on a LEGO skeleton, which is why he only has three ribs). And believe it or not, there are even more: Check out his Flickr photostream for more, including just about everybody from Star Sapphire to Cyclone to Nightwing and the Titans.

Seriously, if LEGO ever gets the chance to make more DC Lego sets (the Batman ones being sadly out of print these days), these are exactly what they ought to look like.
