thanks for the kind word folks! Actually I did bump into Rob at HeroesCon a bit earlier than the rest of the CA gang did, and all those stories I've heard about him being super nice in person are absolutely true.
On the art end, he's not for me, but it was a heck of a lot of fun working in his style.
THose hands are waaaaaay to realistic for Liefeld.
Awesome, as usual.
Nice typing, Rummy.

Actually, I would love to see Herbie in a whole 90's comic pastiche: Faced with an over armed and steroided villain type with blades on his shoulders or something, Herbie just walk up says some strange non-sequiter and pops the dude on the head with his lollipop.
I could read a whole issue of that.
Oh, how I hate Liefeld. I mean, I know you all posed with him at the convention, and it was really cute and all, but why did the industry let him back in?! Why?! He's like a saboteur!

September 01 2010 at 4:23 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyHate to nitpick, but I'm pretty sure it should be "You want I should bop you with this here hail of bullets?"
That, and only that, keeps this from being the BEST THING EVER.
Beautiful! I love how the gun barrel bends! I swear I've seen that same cover a dozen times in the 90s...
