When fans first caught wind of Wolverine's trip to the netherworld and subsequent body-snatching
during C2E2, one of my first reactions was, "How will readers be able to instantly identify the 'Foe-verine' walking around in the real-deal's skin?" Marvel's answered that question today with a first look at two interior pages from September's "Wolverine" #1 relaunch by Jason Aaron and Renato Guedes (with covers by Jae Lee, Steve McNiven, Paul Smith and Marko Djurdjevic).
Here's Marvel's official synopsis for the story, which seems to feature a creepy pupil-less Wolverbody to avoid confusion:
Just in time for his all-new ongoing, Wolverine's soul gets sent straight to hell...literally! However, while Wolverine's soul is in Hell, his body is terrorizing all that are close to him. This September, Wolverine #1 delivers Logan doing what he does best, in true Wolverine fashion. And what he does best is not very nice.
Read Marvel's preview and view Lee's covers after the jump.

Why is Wolverine making "kissy-face" on that cover. Smooching is not advisible when run through with katana...

I was hoping Garney would be working with Aaron still. What's he up to?
