It's a good idea, but if you ask me, it seems like there's a pretty obvious choice missing from their lineup:

If OK! actually had this as their cover, it'd be the first time I'd buy a tabloid! It would also be cool if Rolling Stone actually got in with Archie Comics and made some kind of cross-promotional thing.

I hoped it would be the Janet Jackson Rolling Stone cover...

Why is this even still an issue? Archie needs to stop screwing around, get with the money, get with the looks, she has a personality, Archie needs to get with Veronica.
+100 points for a step into the new age.
-10000 points for giving Archie ANOTHER love interest.
Before I die, Archie better be married... and it better be a million dollar wedding ceremony with Pop's catering. If ever a character needed to wrap things up, it's Archie. My dad read it, I read it, and I have a feeling that when I get kids they're going to read it. WRAP IT UP, ARCHIE COMICS. Also, Ethel is not that bad, Jughead. Just saying.
I forget that nerd kid's name, but give him a Pussycat. He fricken' deserves it. Or Reggie. Throw Reggie a bone. I might not have read Archie since 7th grade, but I know I'd pick up Archie's wedding ceremony in a heartbeat.
There were two Archie gets married books in the last six months.
Oh and Betty is a much saner choice out of B vs V. Veronica comes with way too much baggage- well matched luggage sets. If he was a gold digger Cheryl Blossom comes with a bigger inheritance and she is way crazier than even Veronica.
Ummmm....I think he is soooooo better off with Betty. Since no one can agree who's better, that may be why the hold up of a wedding...I love the comics, I say keep them coming...no need to "wrap things up". It should be an icon forever and ever, amen!

But, you know...it's funny that a company so notoriously litigious about trademarks as to launch a legal action against Warners Brothers and the pop band The Veronicas, is so carefree in its use of appropriating other magazines' looks and logos, huh?

A countdown of the must-read books of the year.
