Nick Simmons Responds To 'Incarnate's' 'Bleach' Similarities... Sort Of

Meh...who cares. Granted, any obsessive Bleach fan will absolutely hate it, it doesn't really matter. Doesn't Death Note technically use the Japanese concept of Shinigami? Don't other Manga and Anime also use the concept of Shinigami? Aren't they all ripping off Japanese mythology? Can you really copyright the idea of a grim reaper? It's all just interpretations. Not saying Incarnate is the same thing (I have no idea what it is, to be honest). I do like Bleach...a lot. I'm not offended by Incarnate. Isn't it a Japanese saying that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

LOL here he was stating that he's a big fan of the Bleach manga and there he was stating that he never heard of this manga. A coincidence or a deja vu?

I like how he says "perceive". As if we are just interpreting his art the wrong way. Silly us.

I think it is obvious that anyone who complains that "some manga is ripping off another manga" canot have read much manga. The genre, on a whole, relies on tropes and imitation. Many readers like to see similar styles with different stories.
