Cartoonist Bob Eckstein
mourns the death of his cartooning career at Salon, and links out to this totally absurd story about copyright infringement. Admittedly, a lot of people on the web often have a laissez-faire attitude about using other people's images, but this takes entitlement to an entirely new level.
After a photographer took down some of his images from his site, he actually received an e-mail from a man who had been using them without permission, complaining that he had taken them away and
threatening to sue him if he didn't put them back.

entire e-mail exchange here.
