A pair of shoes modeled after Unit 01 from the classic anime series "Neon Genesis Evangelion" are going on sale in Japan in August, following the June release of the second NGE film, "Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance." The shoes are titled "The Footstep Instrumentality Project," signaling their desire to artificially enhance the footware of the world, and dissolve the stylistic barriers that divide us.
